Well done to the senior lads on their victory over Urris on Saturday. This win ensures that the lads will play in Division 3 next season. This weekend they are fixed to play at home to Naomh Ultan in their final game of the season. Please see Facebook later in the week for confirmation of day and time for the fixture.

Off the field our comedy It's The Real Mc Coy is keeping sellout audiences in fits of laughter during each performance. The show already ran for four nights from last Thursday and is scheduled to run again this weekend. Demand is high for tickets with Sunday the only available night.

Tickets are available from Areana 7, Swilly Drive, Sweeneys Spar, Ballyraine, Murry's Pharmacy, Ramelton, Committee Members or by calling 087 1332680. Please see club Facebook & Webpage for dates and further information.

Bhí deireadh seachtain gnóthach ag Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn. Bhí scaifte daoine óga ag cleachtadh fá choinne Scór Dé hAoine. Bhí bua iontach ag na Gaeil in eadan Urris Dé Sathairn. Bhí an drama The Real McCoy ar siúil sa chlubtheach - agus craic íontach ann. Agus ina measc sin uilig bhí na Gaeil pairteach i gcuriarracht domhanda fosta! Comhrá 16 is a world record attempt to speak Irish, without a break for eight full days. Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn took part for an hour on Saturday 15th. With help from various friends around the area we were involved in chat, interviews and music. Bhí agallamh againn le Eanna O Mainín, Una Uí Bhriain, Colm Breathnach, Neil O Baoighill, Fergus Mac Aoidh, Annraoi O Domhnall, Colm Ferriter agus ceol againn ó Gráinne agus Roise Uí Dhomhnaill agus Méabh Ní Chathail. Ár mbuíochas d'achan duine a thug tacaíocht duinn, go h-airithe John Andy Bonar agus LYIT a chuir wifi ar fáil duinn. We had good craic and it was wonderful to see the strength and vibrancy of Irish in our own club and the surrounding area.

Letterkenny Gaels minor camogie players Caoimhe, Eimear, Una & Eimear won their first County minor title when they joined forces with Four Masters at the weekend and defeated Burt.

The U-16 hurlers played in the Division 2 County Final in Convoy last Thursday night but unfortunately came up short against a strong Aodh Ruadh side. Overall this was a great season for the team and the lads are already looking forward to their 2017 campaign.

  • The indoor underage hurling will resume this Thursday 20th October from 6.30-7.30pm in the Aura. Helmets and hurls will be provided for new players. The term will run for nine weeks before Christmas and six after.
