It's County Final weekend for our Junior B football team as they take on Downings in the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Junior B Football Championship. The lads overcame Urris last Sunday in the semifinal and are looking forward to our second only Junior B final. The game is being played as part of a treble header in O'Donnell Park this Sunday which also sees the Junior A and Intermediate Finals being played. Throw in for our game is 12.30pm and we are asking for as much support on the day to cheer on the lads.

Also this Saturday the senior team have an away league match against Fanad Gaels. This game has a 5pm throw in. Again we ask for support for this important fixture.

Letterkenny Gaels thespians have been busy at work over the last number of months preparing for the upcoming comedy 'It's The Real Mc Coy' which will be presented at the Club House in mid October.

Tickets are now on sale from Areana 7, Swilly Drive, Sweeneys Spar, Ballyraine, Murry's Pharmacy, Ramelton, Committee Members or by calling 087 1332680. Given the success of last years show we would advise early purchase of tickets. Please see club Facebook & Webpage for dates and further information.

Arena 7 hosted a successful fundraising event on behalf of underage football, camogie and hurling at the club.  Over 100 underage players enjoyed the hospitality of Enda and Claire at Arena 7.

Brian Sweeney, Club Development Officer said “We are very grateful to Enda, Claire and all the staff of Arena 7 for hosting this underage party”. “We had over 100 children attending and they all got an opportunity to play in Wayne’s World, try out the Laser Game and go Bowling”.  “Finger food was also served”. “Arena 7 has been very good to Letterkenny Gaels club and we thank them for it”.

Club merchandise, which includes training tops, track-suits, jerseys, hats etc. can be purchased in Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure.
