Letterkenny Gaels underage presentation was more popular than ever this year with many young footballers and hurlers coming out to receive their awards from guests Frank McGlynn and Martin McGrath. Special mention goes to U13 footballer of the year Brian Diver, U14 footballer Kyle Silva, U16 footballer James Carr, U13 hurler Shay Doherty and U14 hurler Cathair DohertyThe boys and girls enjoyed refreshments and getting their photo taken with Sam and the Anglo-Celt Cup. A big thank you to Sharon Harnett for organising the evening and to all who helped.

Congratulations to Woodlands Camogie team who won the Donegal Cumann na mBunscol indoor title last week and who will go on to play in Ulster in 2013. 9 girls from Gaels camogie played for their school.

A very successful hurling blitz was organised by schools hurling coach Martin McGrath last week where 130 2nd class pupils from 6 local schools came to Game On Sports Centre. It was an excellent day with lots of exciting hurling and camogie being played and was greatly enjoyed by all participants.  
  • Girls & ladies gaelic training, and U14 fitness & conditioning has now finished for the Christmas break. Check underage winter training page for resumption in January.

The Clubs Annual Dinner dance takes place in the Station Hse Hotel on Thursday the 27th December. Keep this date free.
The Lotto Nos for week ending the 9th Dec were 9,10,11 & 15 The jackpot winner of 1050 Euro was Ray Winters, Friends of the Gaels.
