Club Notes Wending the 1st July 2012

The seniors and reserves inconsistency continued last weekend when both teams were defeated by Milford. The seniors are at home to Robert Emmetts in the preliminary round of the championship on Sunday next.

The minor league resumed last week with two victories over Downings and Milford.They play Red Hughs this Friday evening at Páirc na nGael in the Northern Semi Final.

The U16s were defeated by Glenfinn in the semi final of the championship on Monday night last.Final Score 4-9 to 0-13 Gaels had good performances from James Carr, Conor Sweeney and Cormac Cannon.

The U14s training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. All players to be in attendeance with the shield final coming up.
The U12s entertained St Michael's at home on Monday evening, the orange team took to the field and a great game entertaining of football ensued, with the visitors running out winners, great team performances from all the team. The green teams then took to the field and even though the home team were missing 4 first team players they put up a great performance against a strong St Michael s who ran out winners, this was a good introduction for the newcomers Brian McHugh and Shane Diver. Thanks to both Referees John Doran and Conor McBrearty.

U12 girls gaelic will host a blitz at Pairc na Gael next Saturday,11am.

U14 girls were defeated in the league semi-final by Bundoran.Gaels were missing a number of players against a physically robust Bundoran squad and despite trying their best, lost out at the end. On the night, Eimear Lynch, Laura Walker, Sarah Boyce and Cliona Conaghan worked hard. Training continues on Mondays, 6pm.

The U12 hurling league begins on Thursday 5th with Gaels at home to Carndonagh. Training on Tuesday 5.45pm.
In camogie, U12 girls played their league match away to Four Masters and came away with a win.
The U10's also played a friendly on the night. Many thanks to Four Masters for refreshments. Training on Tues 6pm.

 Lotto numbers this week were 3,7,14 & 19 there was no winner, match 3 winner was Paul Gallen, next weeks lotto is €3200.
