Club Notes W/ending7th April 2013

The seniors recorded a good league win over Robert Emmetts on Saturday evening at Páirc na nGael, winning 4-10 to 1-9. The seniors and reserves travel to Muff on Saturday evening next with Throw in at 5.45 and 7pm.
The Minors were defeated by a good Gweedore side on Friday last(0.14 to 0.7). They travel to Buncrana this Friday evening. Throw in at 6.30pm.
The U14s travel to Milford on Monday next  
All underage training will commence at Pairc na Gaeil from Sunday 7th April.
  • Sunday Gaelic for U6, U8 & U10 11am.
  •  Monday Girls gaelic U12 6pm.
  • Tuesday Camogie 6pm U12/14 hurling 6.30pm.
  • Wednesday U10/12 gaelic 6.30pm.
  • Thursday     U6, U8, U10 & U12 hurling 6pm.
  • Friday. U14/16 girls gaelic 6pm. U12/14 gaelic 6.30pm.
  • Friday U14 Gaelic 6.30pm - 7.30 pm
Gaelic4Girls starts on Monday 15th April at 6pm in Letterkenny Gaels Páirc na Gaeil. Open to girls aged 9-13 years who are not registered with a Ladies Gaelic Football team. It introduces girls to football in a fun environment. Participants get a G4G t-shirt and certificate on completion. Cost for programme is €8. For more information, contact Oisin Cannon on 0867325955
U14 hurlers continued their fine start to the season with a strong win over Dungloe at Páirc na Gaeil. Next match is at home on Thursday with St. Eunans visitors.
 U12 camogie players participated in Caman to Croke activity day in Croke Park on April 6th.  17 girls got the opportunity to play a mini blitz on the pitch and had a tour of the museum & stadium. The girls had a great day, winning their blitz matches in a well organized event. Thanks to coaches & parents who helped out.Thanks go to Game On Sports Centre, Michael and Darcie, for sponsorship towards travel costs
Sympathy is extended to the O’Donnell family Kilcar and the Hughes family Letterkenny on their recent bereavement.
