Club Notes W/ending 26/10/2013

A hurling and camogie blitz for 4th class pupils in Letterkenny schools was held in Game On on Mon 21st Oct. The blitz was organised by Letterkenny Gaels with assistance from Martin McGrath, Donegal GAA schools hurling coach and Yvonne Byrne, Regional Camogie Development Officer. Boys and girls from Woodlands, Lurgybrack, Illistrin, Gaelscoil and Ballyraine took part in the competition. There were skilful and competitive matches throughout with all players getting their chance to participate. Player of the tournament awards went to David Kilcullen, Gaelscoil and Yasmin Gallagher, Woodlands. The winners of the hurling competition were Woodlands whilst the girls from Ballyraine taking part for the first time, won the camogie blitz. It was wonderful to see over 100 children playing at such a high level and enjoying every minute.
 
The underage indoor training programme is now up and running.
  • Football training is cancelled this Friday in Woodlands school due to school holidays.

  • Camogie. Continues on Tuesdays at Woodland School Hall €2 per girl or €3 per family.1st, 2nd& 3Rd class 6 – 6.45pm.  4th, 5th& 6th class 6.45 – 7.30pm, 6th class&  Secondary School girls.8 – 9pm in Game On Sports Centre, €3 each Aideen 086 8163605.
 
Lotto Nos for W'ending 20th October were 5,8,18 & 24. Match 2 winner was Thomas McGinty Friends of the Gaels, Lotto Nos for W'ending 27th October were 2,7,17 & 21. Match 3 winner was Sean McBrearty Friends of the Gaels, This weeks jackpot will be 1200 Euro
