Club Notes w/ending 22nd April'12

The seniors and reserves were free last weekend. This weekend they play Naomh Mhuire Convoy on Saturday evening with throw inn times at 6pm and 7.30pm.
The minors are at home to Termon on Friday evening at Páirc na nGael Throw Inn at 7pm. T

The Under 16s completed their league fixtures on Sunday evening with a good win over neighbours Glenswilly at Páirc na nGael In a most entertaining game watched by the large attendance, Conor Sweeney, Sean McDonagh,James Carr and Cormac Cannon were excellent. The team now advance to the Shield semi final. Date and time to be announced.  
  • The underage training for U6 to U10s continues on Sunday mornings at11am at Páirc na nGael.
  • U12 football training is on Wednesdays and Fridays 7-8pm weekly and matches will be on Monday nights commencing on the 7th May New members are always welcome.
  • The U14 Boys football training has commenced on Wednesday evenings 6.30-7.30pm.
The U14 girls gaelic team were defeated by a strong St. Eunans team during the week although the girls battled well. Best for the Gaels were Aoife Rossbotham, Anna Gallagher and Eímear Lynch. Our final league match is at home to Termon on Tues 24th. 
 
The U8 hurlers travelled to Gweedore for a blitz last Sunday. The boys and girls played some excellent hurling and showed great potential for the future. Training on Tuesday 5.45pm sharp.
 
Lotto results for W/ending the 15th April Nos were 5,6,8,and 11. Match 3 winner was Seamus Patton, Friends of the Gaels. Next weeks jackpot is 2700 Euro
