Club Notes W/Ending 1st Jan 2012

The clubs annual presentation dinner dance was held in the Silver Tassie hotel on Wednesday night the 28th December. A very enjoyable night was had by all. Credit to the Silver Tassie, the organisers and to all who attended. 
The minor and U21 teams were presented with their championship medals and both teams were commended for their outstanding achievements in 2011.
The following awards were presented on the night.
  • Ladies  Player of the Year:     Aoife Cannon
  • Ladies Most Improved Player: Lisa Shiels
  • U15 Player of the year:          Conor Browne,
  • U16 Player of the year:          Aron Diver,
  • Minor player of the year:        Ciaran Lynch,
  • U21 Player of the year:          Aaron Bradley,
  • Reserve player of the year :    Shane Gildea,
  • Senior player of the year:       Ciaran Cannon,
  • Manager of the year:              Michael: O'Connor 
  • Club person of the year:         Stephen Doherty. 
The underage indoor training will resume on
  1. Monday the 23rd January with Girls Gaelic,
  2. Tuesday the 24th Camogie 
  3.  Thursday the 26th Indoor hurling.   
Lotto results for weekending the 18th Dec 2,10,12 & 13. Match 3 winner was Paddy Walsh, 21 Glebe, Letterkenny Next    Draw will be W/ending 8th Jan Jackpot will be 1900 Euro.
