Club Notes W/Ending 13th May 2012

The seniors and reserves both recorded good away wins in Moville on Saturday evening last. The reserves made full use of wind advantage in the first half with Paul McKenna and Pauric Breslin kicking some fine scores. The defence stood firm in the second half with Kevin O'Connor and Aaron Diver impressive. The seniors stole victory with two late goals from Ciaran Cannon and Aaron Bradley. They travel to Leitirmacaward this Saturday evening with throw inns at 6pm and 7.30pm. 
The U12 teams travelled to Portsalon on Monday evening The orange team recorded a good win and the green team were defeated by three point. Mikey Sweeney performed well on the night.
The U8 hurlers travelled to Burt for their monthly blitz. In playing some excellent hurling, the team won three matches and drew one. Well done to all players.
U14 hurlers were defeated at O'Donnell Park. Best for Gaels on the night were Brian Diver and Niall Sweeney.
A big thank you to all who contributed to the cake sale held by Gaels underage girls teams in Irish Martyrs last weekend. It was a great success. Special thanks to Claire Foody and Ciara Walker for excellent organisation.
  • No underage gaelic next Sunday as Donegal open their account in the Ulster championship.
U8 gaelic blitz at páirc na gael next Saturday 19th. All players/parents to be at pitch for 10.30am.

Lotto results for W/ending 6th May. Nos were 3,7,17 & 18.. Lucky dip match 2 winner was Sheila McLaughlin, 227 Kylemore Park, Derry.   Next weeks jackpot is 2850 Euro.
