Club Notes Wending 05/05/2013

The Senior teams  had St Marys Convoy at home on Saturday evening last. The seniors were defeated while the reserve match ended all square. The reserves will be free this coming weekend and the seniors will travel to Dooey to play Na Rossa in the Preliminary Round of the championship. 
 
The Minors travelled to Buncrana on Monday evening for their final league came but were defeated by the home side. Training will continue in preperation for the championship. 

The U14s continued their  unbeaten run in the League when they defeated Glenswilly in the Glen last Wednesday evening. They are at home to Cloughaneely this Wednesday with a 7pm Throw Inn.
 
All underage training continues at Pairc na Gaeil,
  • Sunday Gaelic for U6, U8 & U10 11am.
  • Monday Girls gaelic U12 at 6pm.
  • Tuesday Camogie 6pm U12/14 hurling 6.30pm.
  • Wednesday U10/12 gaelic 6.30pm.
  • Thursday     U6, U8, U10 & U12 hurling 6.30pm.
  • Friday. U14/16 girls gaelic 6pm. U12/14 gaelic 6.30pm. 
 
Congratulations to U14 hurlers who qualified for Feile 2013 in Limerick after finishing runners up in the Feile Blitz last weekend in BallyshannonThis is a great achievement for the boys who are also participating in Feile in Derry in June. This capped a week where the U14s defeated Glenswilly in the gaelic league and Setanta in the hurling league.
