Well done and good luck to Sean Mc Donagh, Paddy Doherty and Cormac Cannon on reaching the MacLarnon Cup final where they will play ColaistiInishEoghain on St. Patrick’s Day.

The Minors got their season off to a great start when they defeated neighbours Glenswilly in wintry conditions at Páirc Na nGael. The Gaels scores on the day were shared by Paddy Doherty & Cormac Cannon while the goal came from Sean Mc Donagh. Final score: 1-08 to 2-04. Next up this Sunday at home, are current minor club champions Buncrana.

Our U12 Hurlers competed well in their indoor league and showed great signs of development.A number of club members will be playing on a GaelscoilAdhmhnáin team this Sunday in Magherafelt. This sporting initiative is to promote the use of the Irish language through Hurling. Good luck to Tom Murray and the team.

The U14 footballers start their season this Monday away to Buncrana. Training continues at Game on Sports on Mondays from 6-7pm & Fridays 8-9pm. New players welcome
Thanks to the management and players of our ladies team who co-ordinated the bucket collection at the Donegal game on Sunday

All managers are reminded that the pitch is only open for competitive games until further notice.

Club gear can be purchased from Donegal Sports (Hats, Hoodies, Tracksuits, Training tops, etc.)

The final registration day will be this Sunday the 9th of March from 2-4pm in the community room of the Church of the Irish Martyrs.

Club members are being encouraged to purchase tickets for the Allianz leagues in advance and avail of a saving of €5. Tickets can be purchased at selected Super Value/Centra stores or at gaa.ie, or via tickets.ie
  • U6 Football resumes on Friday evenings from 6-6.45pm at the Woodlands school. New players welcome.
  • U8 Football will resume in mid - March at PáircnanGael.
  • Camogie training continues every Tuesday evening - 1st, 2nd & 3rd class-Woodlands School 6-6.45pm. 4th & 5th class- Game on Sports 7-8pm. 6th class & Secondary school-Game on Sports 7.30 - 8.30 pm. Contact 086 8163605 for information.
  • Hurling training for U6, U8, U10 and U12 continues every Thursday evening from 6-7pm at Game on Sports. Hurley’s and helmets provided for training.

  • Senior Ladies Football training continues every Tuesday from 8-9pm at Game on Sports. New members welcome.
GAA National Draw - With only a couple of weeks left until the big draw make sure you get your ticket today from any club member. Priced at only €10, all proceeds stay with the club. Please return sold and unsold tickets ASAP.
