Club Notes W/End 21/04/13

Both Seniors and reserves recorded good wins over Na Rossa at Páirc na nGael on Saturday evening last. This Saturday they travel to Moville with both teams hoping to continue their good form.
The Minor team defeated Naomh Colmcille on Friday evening last in what was an excellent team performance.  All underage training continues at Pairc na Gaeil
  •  Sunday Gaelic for U6, U8 & U10 11am.
  •  Monday Girls gaelic U12 6pm.
  • Tuesday Camogie 6pm U12/14 hurling 6.30pm.
  •  Wednesday U10/12 gaelic 6.30pm.
  • Thursday     U6, U8, U10 & U12 hurling 6.30pm.
  •  Friday. U14/16 girls gaelic 6pm. U12/14 gaelic 6.30pm.
Gaelic4Girls continues at 6pm in Letterkenny Gaels Páirc na Gaeil. Open to girls aged 9-13 years who are not registered with a Ladies Gaelic Football team. It introduces girls to football in a fun environment. Participants get a G4G t-shirt and certificate on completion. Cost for programme is €8. For more information, contact Oisin Cannon on 0867325955
U8 hurlers travelled to Burt for their blitz and enjoyed a great day's competition. Thanks to coaches and parents who supported on the day.
U14 hurlers suffered their first defeat away to McCumhails in a competitive physical match. Next match is away to Buncrana.
Camogie girls played Four Masters in a evenly matched and enjoyable game.
Congratulations to Úna Quinn who will represent Donegal in the camogie Féile Skills in Limerick in July. Úna won the competition held in Pairc na Gaeil for the second year in a row.
U14 footballers continued their fine start to the season with a good win away to Milford. Next match is at home to Fanad on Wednesday.
Lotto No’s for last weekend were 1,12,13 & 19.  Match 3 winner was Gareth Ladley, 14 Beechwood Avenue Letterkenny. Next week’s jackpot will be 1900 Euro.
