Club Notes Weekending 28th July 2013

Our reserves played McCumhaills in the return leg of the Junior B championship on Friday evening last and the visitors reversed the 1st leg result with a deserved win at Pairc na nGael. Final score was Gaels 2.9 McCumhaills 1.14. 

The Minors played Cloughaneely in the 1st leg of the championship at home on Wednesday evening last. Three goals in the opening half set the Gaels on their way and resulted in a 3.11 to 2.7 victory despite a spirited comeback from the visitors in the second half. The 2nd leg will be played on Wednesday the 31st July

Gaels hosted U10 gaelic blitz and everyone enjoyed skilful games and some determined playing. Our two teams were victorious in the majority of their matches

U16 hurlers played McCumhaills at home and displayed a true competitive spirit against more experienced opposition. The boys took some great scores from play, training continues on tues 6.30pm. 

  • Sunday Gaelic for U6, U8 & U10 11am. 
  • Monday Girls gaelic U12 at 6pm.
  • Tuesday Camogie 6pm    U12/14/U16 hurling 6.30pm. 
  • Wednesday U10/12 gaelic 6.30pm. 
  • Thursday     U6, U8, U10 & U12 hurling 6.30pm.
  • Friday. U14/16 girls gaelic 6pm.       U12/14/U16 gaelic 6.30pm.

The Lotto numbers for week ending the 28tht July were 4,5,19 & 24 Match 3 winner was Seamus Penrose 70 Rann Mór Letterkenny. 

Next week’s jackpot will be 1200 Euro. Sympathy is extended to the Carlin and Freyne families Killygordon and Letterkenny on their recent bereavement.
