The Seniors and reserves travelled to Dunkineely on Saturday evening last. The reserves were defeated by a very experienced Naomh Ultan.Oisín McElhinney,Aaron Diver and John McDermott all showed well in defeat. Later in the evening the Seniors put on a most improved display from the previous week with a good victory over the home side. Aaron Stewart, Darren Hunter and Conor McBrearty all gave good performances on the night.
The minors played Glenswilly on Friday evening and over the hour conceded three goals. The team fought back well and could have snatched a draw after squandering chances in the closing minutes of the game. Final Score was Glenswilly 3.5 Gaels 1.10. Aaron Diver, Conor Browne and Eoin Kelly stood out for the home team.
Both Senior and Minor teams are free this coming weekend.
The Under 16s continued their improvement in the league at home on Sunday with a good win over the visitors Fanad Gaels.(1.15 to 0.7) Sean McDonagh, Conor Coll, Cormac Cannon and Conor Sweeney all gave good displays.
The underage training for U6 to U12s continues on Sunday mornings at11am at Páirc na nGael. New members are always welcome.
The U14 Boys football training has commenced on Wednesday evenings 6.30-7.30pm
Congratulations to Úna Quinn, winner of Donegal Feile U14 Camogie skills competition. Úna will represent Donegal at Feile in Dublin in July. Camogie training continues on Tuesday 6pm.
U14 hurlers travelled to Buncrana and although defeated, enjoyed a very sporting match. All players worked hard and thanks to Buncrana for their hospitality. Training on Tuesday 5.45pm sharp.
