Club notes 24th May 2016

The senior and reserve footballers travelled to Newton at the weekend where the reserves were defeated and the seniors won their match by four points. This weekend we welcome Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon to Pairc na nGael. Throw in times are 6pm and 7.30pm  

Letterkenny Gaels in conjunction with Letterkenny Rugby Club are holding a Car Boot Sale this Sunday 29th May at the Glebe Sports Car Park. See Facebook for more details. 

The Letterkenny Gaels annual 5k Road Race and Fun Run will be held on Tuesday 31st May. This 5k is part of the Donegal Grand Prix Series. This is a flat course which should give good times. More details on Facebook.

Bingo continues every Monday in Arena 7. The Jackpot this week is €1850. The Bingo is open to all and we are calling on club members to show your support too. Doors from 8pm. Eyes down 9pm. All welcome.

Letterkenny Gaels U-14 Camogie girls had a good win over Four Masters at Pairc na nGael on Friday evening. Team work, support play & great skill was displayed by the girls - well done all.

The U-8 & U-10 Camogs travelled  to Carndonagh for their first blitz of the season on Sunday morning. Thanks to the Carndonagh club for hosting the blitz. 

Also on Sunday morning the U-8 and U-10 hurlers travelled to Convoy for a blitz.
  • The underage football training continues every Sunday morning at Pairc na nGael from 11am to 12 noon. Please bring water and a mouth guard. New players are always welcome.  
  • Outdoor Hurling training for U-6, U-8 & U-10 continues every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Hurls and helmets provided. New players welcome.
  • U-12 to U-18 hurling continues every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm.  
  • U-12 girls football training takes place at the pitch every Sunday morning from 11am-12noon. All welcome.
  •  Camogie Training continues at Pairc na nGael every Monday from 6pm-7.30pm for U12s, 14s, 16s & 18s and Friday evenings from 6-7.30pm for U8s, 10s, 12s & 14s. New  members always welcome. Contact 086 8163505 for more details
