The senior and reserve footballers had no games last weekend. Please see Facebook page for possible weekend fixtures.

Well done to Letterkenny Gaels clubman Matthew Winters who was part of the Donegal Cumann na mBunscol team that played against Fermanagh at half time during the Ulster Championship Football match in Ballybofey on Sunday. Matthew represented his school Scoil Naomh Fiachra Illistrin and scored a goal and a point in the process.

In the Cumann na mBunscol competition Illistrin National School were beaten by Buncrana National School in the County Final on Thursday. Letterkenny Gaels players that played in the final for Illistrin were Matthew Winters, Darragh Toye, Ciaran Gallagher and Dylan Condron.

Our young footballers had a busy weekend at blitzes with the U-10 team travelling to Glenfin on Friday evening and the U-8's travelling to Robert Emmetts on Saturday. Both blitzes were high scoring affairs with plenty of skill and determination on show. Thanks to all who travelled and helped out. Thanks to Glenfin and Robert Emmetts GAA for hosting.
