Club News 11th April

posted 18 Apr 2018, 16:03 by Letterkenny Gaels   [ updated 18 Apr 2018, 16:03 ]

Both our senior and reserve footballers got their seasons off to a start with home games against Downings on Saturday evening past. On the night both teams were defeated. This weekend the lads are away to Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin.
All support welcome.
See Facebook for fixture details.

In Camogie news, eighteen girls and parents from the club took part in the annual Camogie Caman to Croker day on Sunday past. Travelling on the Donegal team bus driven by James Patton, the team played 3 matches against girls from Cork, Galway and Kerry . They battled well in these matches against much bigger girls cheered on by coaches Annie and Ellen and proud parents. With lots of photos to remember the occasion, the squad thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the fantastic experience of playing on Croke Park in a well run event. Thanks to Annie and Ellen, and Noelle, Alison, Marie Therese, Anne, Rosaleen, James and James who assisted.
