The weekend of September 8/9th will see the continuation of the Junior Championship with games against Moville and Pettigo to be played. Please see Facebook for upcoming fixtures.

The Minor footballers claimed victory over St. Michaels in the Championship last week in their Division 2 quarterfinal game. Next up in the semifinal the lads will play Fanad Gaels.

Two Letterkenny Gaels hurlers represented the club at the weekend when they took part in U-14 Development squads. Matthew Winters played at the National Games Development Centre at Abbotstown where the team won the All Ireland Shield Final while in Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence Caolan Boyle’s team lost out at the semifinal stage by two points.

Congratulations to the Letterkenny Gaels Camogie girls who represented the Club and County in the Ulster U-14 Camogie Blitz at the weekend.

Letterkenny Gaels U11s travelled to Tir Conaill Park in Donegal Town today to compete in the Four Masters U11 tournament. The cream of Donegal underage football was on show in a tournament that included , Naomh Conaill, Ardara, Glenfin, MacCumhaills, Aodh Rua Ballyshannon, St Eunans, Glenswilly, and Four Masters. St Molaise travelled from Grange in Sligo to take part. Letterkenny Gaels were drawn in a very tough group with Four Masters, St Eunans, MacCumhaills and Glenfin. The young Gaels competed very well in each game but the results didn't go their way today. The tournament was won by host Club Four Masters who edged their neighbours Ardara in an excellent final. MacCumhaills needed extra time to win the Trophy Final against a very talented Aodh Rua team. Glenswilly brought home the plate defeating an excellent Glenfin team in the final. Well done and thank you to the Four Masters club for hosting a very well run tournament.
Next up for Letterkenny Gaels U11s is a home draw against Red Hughs on Wednesday 29th September at Pairc na nGael in the Northern Board U11 Go games series.

This weekend we will host our second annual U-10 Football Tournament at Páirc na nGael. Good luck to all involved.
