Club News 6th November
The U-21 footballers are fixed to play Carndonagh on Sunday at Buncrana. The game throws in at 2pm. All support welcome. The Scór na nOg group are continuing to practise for the upcoming Scór which takes place in Ramelton on Sunday 18th November.

The U-13 girls footballers finished off a very memorable season when they welcomed Ardara to Páirc na nGael for a challenge game last Sunday morning. Club News 30th September
The U-21 footballers had a good opening game in their Championship when they defeated Naomh Brid in Ballintra on Saturday past. The lads will play Carndonagh this Saturday at 12 noon. Venue will be confirmed later. Pride of place this weekend goes to our young U-13 girls team who won the Division Four Shield after an entertaining game against St. Michaels on Saturday. The U-13 footballers season came to a close on Sunday when the lads were defeated by St. Eunans in the Division 2 Shield Final. The lads had a great season and will now enjoy a well deserved break. The curtain came down for another year on our Comedy show on Sunday. Well done to Garry Coll and the cast and to all the club members who helped out in any way to make this another memorable success. Girls indoor Camogie training returns this Friday from 6.15-7.15pm in the LYIT for U8,10 & 12. €5 per session or €25 for 6 weeks. Club News 19th September
Last weekend saw our adult footballers return to Championship action where the Junior A team won their match against Moville while the Junior B lads lost out to Pettigo. Both teams are in action again this weekend with fixtures to be confirmed. Please see Facebook for fixture details. Well done to the U-13 girls on their victory over St. Michaels last week in the Championship. They are away this weekend to Malin. Good luck girls. Training continues every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.15pm. Congratulations also to our U-13 boys footballers who recorded a win over neighbours St. Eunans B’s in the first round of the Championship. This week they are at home to St. Mary’s, Convoy. Calling traditional musicians, singers, Irish dancers and quizzers! Tá séasúr Scór buailte linn! It's that time of year when we start practising for Scór again. If you are under 17 and interested in taking part please give Bairbre a call on 0894218215. On Sunday morning our U-13 Camogie girls traveled to a blitz at the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence in Convoy. The girls won their first game against Four Masters and came up against a strong Carndonagh side in the next game. Camogie training continues at Pairc na nGael every Friday for U8, 10 & 12 from 6.30-8pm and U14/16 on Monday at 6.30pm. New girls welcome and equipment is available to borrow. Both teams played very well and were well able to compete against the best in Ulster and indeed the Country. Thanks to Emyvale GAA for the invite. Well done to Jack Keys from Letterkenny Gaels who represented the Club on Saturday in MacCumhaill Park in the Aurivo Donegal GAA Primary Schools Competition.

Club News 11th September
It was with great sadness that we learned about the tragic passing last Thursday evening, of our esteemed Club Member, Francie Browne following a serious road traffic collision. May Francie rest in peace. Sympathy is extended from all at the Club to Kathleen, Conor, Hayley and their extended family and friend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dhilís. As a mark of respect to the Browne family, our Championship games were postponed last weekend and have been re fixed for this weekend. Please see Facebook for fixtures details. The Minor footballers bowed out of the Division 2 Championship after they were defeated by Fanad Gaels on Wednesday evening in Convoy. The U-13 girls are due to play St. Michaels this coming week in the next round of the championship. Training continues every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.15pm. Letterkenny Gaels U-8/10 Camogs took part in a very enjoyable blitz hosted by Burt on Friday evening. The girls had competitive games against Na Magha from Derry, St Eunan's and host club Burt. Following the blitz the girls and coaches had tea and refreshments in the clubhouse. This weekend sees the resumption of the Junior Championship with games against Moville and Pettigo to be played on Saturday and Sunday. Please see Facebook for upcoming fixtures. Well done to everyone involved in last weekends successful U-10 football tournament which took place at Páirc na nGael. Congratulations to our U-13 girls who had a good victory over Red Hughs last week. The girls will play St. Michaels next week. U-13 girls training continues every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.15pm and Saturday from 4pm to 5.15pm. All welcome. Two Letterkenny Gaels Camogie girls, Eimear ni Bhaoghill & Ornaith ni Fhearghail traveled to Abbotstown in Dublin at the weekend to play for Donegal in the All Ireland Final. Unfortunately Donegal lost out to a strong Wicklow team. This weekend six of the U-14 Camogie girls along with coach Annie and Coordinator Aideen, will travel to the All Ireland blitz in Dublin. Good luck all. On Friday evening the U-8 & U-10 Camogs are in Burt for a blitz.

Club News 28th August
The weekend of September 8/9th will see the continuation of the Junior Championship with games against Moville and Pettigo to be played. Please see Facebook for upcoming fixtures. The Minor footballers claimed victory over St. Michaels in the Championship last week in their Division 2 quarterfinal game. Next up in the semifinal the lads will play Fanad Gaels. Two Letterkenny Gaels hurlers represented the club at the weekend when they took part in U-14 Development squads. Matthew Winters played at the National Games Development Centre at Abbotstown where the team won the All Ireland Shield Final while in Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence Caolan Boyle’s team lost out at the semifinal stage by two points. Congratulations to the Letterkenny Gaels Camogie girls who represented the Club and County in the Ulster U-14 Camogie Blitz at the weekend. Letterkenny Gaels U11s travelled to Tir Conaill Park in Donegal Town today to compete in the Four Masters U11 tournament. The cream of Donegal underage football was on show in a tournament that included , Naomh Conaill, Ardara, Glenfin, MacCumhaills, Aodh Rua Ballyshannon, St Eunans, Glenswilly, and Four Masters. St Molaise travelled from Grange in Sligo to take part. Letterkenny Gaels were drawn in a very tough group with Four Masters, St Eunans, MacCumhaills and Glenfin. The young Gaels competed very well in each game but the results didn't go their way today. The tournament was won by host Club Four Masters who edged their neighbours Ardara in an excellent final. MacCumhaills needed extra time to win the Trophy Final against a very talented Aodh Rua team. Glenswilly brought home the plate defeating an excellent Glenfin team in the final. Well done and thank you to the Four Masters club for hosting a very well run tournament. This weekend we will host our second annual U-10 Football Tournament at Páirc na nGael. Good luck to all involved.

Club News 7th August
The Minor footballers topped their group in Division 2 of the Minor Football Championship after they recorded a good win over Kilcar at Páirc na nGael last Wednesday evening. The lads are now through to the quarter final stages.
We will be holding a weekend Camogie Camp during September. More details to follow.
Congratulations to Senior Footballer, Mark Hunter and his stunning bride, Aoife who tied the knot at the weekend. Both A & B teams got to semi final in the Shield and Plate respectively. After a long season the Sunday morning Underage football training will take a well deserved break and will resume on 19th August. The U-12 hurlers we’re back on the road last week when they traveled to Carndonagh where the home side took the win. U-12 hurling training takes place on Tuesday evenings at Páirc na nGael at 6.30pm.

Club News 24th July
The senior footballers lost out to Urris last Sunday and will play Pettigo in their final league match of the season this weekend. Please see Facebook for fixture details. The minor footballers opened their Championship campaign with a good away win over Glenfin on Wednesday past. The lads are at home this week to Aodh Ruadh. The Hurling Fun Week took place last week at Páirc na nGael where Club hurlers enjoyed a fun filled week of games and drills. The children were joined on the Wednesday by a group of Basque children and their leaders who are staying in the Letterkenny area. The children enjoyed the day sharing our language, culture and sport in a fun way. Thanks to Stephen, Sharon and their helpers. Páirc na nGael was a hive of activity during the week where over 150 children took part in our annual Kellogg’s Cúl Camp. Thanks to all for taking part and to Sean Mc Brearty and his team of coaches and helpers. The Club are set to benefit from the Tesco Community Fund via their Blue Token campaign. Over the next eight weeks we are urging Club members and supporters of Letterkenny Gaels to place their Blue tokens in the Gaels slot at the Tesco exit in Letterkenny Shopping Centre. The more tokens collected for Gaels, the more we will benefit.

The senior footballers are back on the road this Sunday when they travel to Urris to play in their second last League game of the season. Please see Facebook for fixture details. The Club are set to benefit from the Tesco Community Fund via their Blue Token campaign. Over the next eight weeks we are urging Club members and supporters of Letterkenny Gaels to place their Blue tokens in the Gaels slot at the Tesco exit in Letterkenny Shopping CentreThe more tokens collected for Gaels, the more we will benefit. Please spread the word and thanks in advance for your support. Letterkenny Gaels GAA Club are now taking bookings for the summer Kellogg’s Cul Camp which will run from this Monday 23rd to Friday 27th July at Pairc na nGael. The camp is open to all Boys and Girls age 6-13. Bookings can be made online or for enquiries or to receive a booking form contact Sean McBrearty 085-1742175. The camp is open to all including non club members or children who would like to try out Gaelic games.
Well done to Louise Doherty, Tori Ellis, Niamh Sweeney, Aoibhin Franklin, Aoife Sweeney and Emma Johnston who were selected for the Donegal U14 Camogie squad 2018.
